About the Artist
Elena Adamou lives and works in Nicosia, Cyprus. She studied Painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan and completed an MA in Costume Design. She returned to Cyprus in 2021 after working in Milan as an artist, performer, and textile laboratory technician.
Her multidisciplinary practice explores time, memory, and belonging through embroidery, textile manipulation, installation, and video, often focusing on the body, personal objects, and the idea of “safe spaces.”
